Cheryl is a Doctoral prepared Women's Health NP. She graduated with a DNP from Rush University Medical Center and earned her Master's with a dual degree in Women's Health and Midwifery. She is certified as a Clinical Nurse Leader. She is also certified in fetal monitoring and serves as an AWHONN intermediate fetal monitoring instructor. In addition to working at WHC, Cheryl has worked at Rush University Medical Center as an inpatient NP in L&D for the past 17 years. She has also served as adjunct faculty at the Rush University College of Nursing for the past 8 years and the Chicago City Colleges for the past 16 years teaching both Obstetrics and Gynecology and DNP-level courses
Cheryl is passionate about women's health and providing care that respects an individual's health care decision-making and their relationship to their own body. Her clinical interests range from adolescence through menopause with a comprehensive, personalized and collaborative approach to care emphasizing preventative care, self care and evidence-based health education.
